PEPFAR Kenya gives hope and strength through....

The Kenya Defense Forces (KDF)-PEPFAR program provides one of the best models of implementing an impactful and sustainable HIV program for the priority populations – the military men and women. The model is anchored on a long-term partnership and collaboration between US DOD and KDF.

The goal of the program is to conserve the fighting strength of the KDF through provision of high quality, comprehensive HIV prevention, care and treatment interventions to beneficiaries who include active-duty personnel, dependents, KDF civilian employees and civilians living in the neighborhood of the military barracks.
